Jimmy Patton
James B. Patton, Managing Principal and CEO. Commercial and Corporate
Banking background. Spent 22 years with SunTrust Banks,
Inc. holding various positions; most recently was Executive
Vice President and Commercial Line of Business Manager for
the Georgia Region of SunTrust Banks, Inc. Jimmy was previously
President and Chief Executive Officer of SunTrust Bank,
Middle Georgia. He has extensive background in the corporate,
middle market and closely held business segments giving
him a different perspective on the wealth management issues
that business owners face. Jimmy is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He has been very active in community and civic activities including Chairman of the Board of Trustees of First Presbyterian Day School, Inc.; Board of Trustees of Leadership Georgia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the United Way of Central Georgia, Inc.; Board of Trustees of The Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Board of Trustees of the Macon State College Foundation, appointed member of the State of Georgia Workforce Investment Board and served four years as the Ward 5, Post 2 member of Macon City Council. He is married to Kathy and has three children.
